A former Belleville Councillor is taking her public service east to her new home.
Lisa Anne Chatten announced on social media late last week she’ll be running for council in Loyalist Township between Napanee and Kingston.
Chatten says she is committing to the township where her son has more access to resources, her work with Corrections Canada will be less impacted, and her passion for public service and policy can continue to grow.
Chatten spent the last four years on Belleville Council and four before that as a public school board trustee.
