The City of Belleville is reflecting on what is available for visitors at local parks in the summer.
This is the first summer that Belleville did not have the pop-up shops at West Zwick’s park. City staff have announced that they are looking to hear from the community, as changes are possibly made to the City’s Refreshment Vehicle Bylaw and licensing. Broadly speaking, that is the set of rules that governs where mobile food and beverage trucks operate. City staff plan to share the feedback to Belleville Council.
A community open house on the topic will take place at West Riverside Park on Thursday, September 3rd. The event will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. People from all sectors are encouraged to attend, including sports groups, mobile business owners and facility renters.
