A wanted man has been charged in Belleville.
A little after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, city police officers responded to a call for service at a residence in the east end and spoke with a man and a woman.
During the interaction, officers learned the man was wanted on an outstanding Belleville Police Service arrest warrant for robbery with a weapon.
As a result, a 35-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address was arrested on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
