Canada’s 159th birthday celebration will feature free entertainment, activities and live music in Quinte West.
Here is the schedule at Centennial Park in Trenton.
- 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Trenton Lions Club
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Car Show
- Noon to 12:30 p.m. – Opening ceremonies on the pavilion stage with dignitaries and the Trenton Citizen’s Band
- Noon to 5 p.m. – Vendor village and food trucks. Critter visits, live music, bingo and 50/50 hosted by the Knights of Columbus and Quinte Transit.
- 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. – Nerf battles (bubble soccer cancelled due to the heat), laser tag, inflatable hockey.
- 5 p.m. to dusk – Live music, performances, food trucks.
Fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m.
