The City of Belleville will be hosting a public meeting on July 27th.
Staff note that the City has recently finished the Development Charges Background Study. The meeting at 4 p.m. in Council Chambers at Belleville City Hall will give residents a chance of view the study. The new document is also proposing that a new by-law replace an existing one. The new by-law will take into consideration the growth of the city and how policies around development charges may impact that.

Council will review the possibility of welcoming the new by-law at a council meeting in September.
