Friday was a proud day for three new Belleville Police officers and their families.
The Honourable Justice Bonn of the Ontario Court of Justice presided over the swearing-in ceremony of Constables Joshua Rivett, Jacob Bunnett and Jarred Bailey at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse.
The three newest recruits graduated from the Ontario Police College last Friday, June 19.
Chief Murray Rodd, Deputy Chief Sheri Meeks, and members of the Belleville Police Service attended the ceremony, alongside loved ones who came together to mark the milestone.
The BPS proudly welcomes Constables Rivett, Bunnett and Bailey as they begin their careers serving and protecting the Belleville community.
