Serious crash closes Highway 62 in Madoc area overnight

A serious crash closed Highway 62 in Madoc overnight.

At 10:40 pm, Central Hastings OPP posted on social media that Highway 62 had been closed between Spring Brook Rd. and Preston Rd. in Madoc following to a three-vehicle collision.

The extent of the injuries involved remains unknown.

The road was closed for about three hours, reopening Friday morning at 1:26 am.

More information is expected on Friday.
