The Melrose Farrell Excavating Shamrocks picked up their first win of the season with a 13-12 victory over the Parkhurst Tripps Pirates.
The Tyendinaga Cardinals defeated the Read McGuinness Water Solutions Young Guns 10-3.
Jordan McMullen allowed no earned runs over 5 innings and struck out 5 getting the win.
Ryan Maracle hit a 2-run homerun.

The Rhino Lining Rockies defeated the Leighton Electric Mudhens 13-0.
Jordy Romero had 3 RBIs.
Mitch Goodfellow had 2 doubles and 2 RBIs.
THURSDAY, JUNE 4
Uens Pole Line defeated the Parkhurst Tripps Pirates 9-7.
Marcus Sullivan drove in the winning run breaking a 7-7 6th inning tie. John Davis went 4 innings getting the win.
The Rhino Lining Rockies defeated the Melrose Farrell Excavating Shamrocks 10-0.
Aaron Brennan went 5 innings with 9 strikeouts for the win. Joe Blakely had 3 doubles and 4 RBIs.

SieSloan Contracting defeated EMS-Tech Monday night 9-6.
Ashley Brash pitched for SieSloan Contracting with five strikeouts.
Ashley also hit a double and recorded 3 RBIs. Shannon Williams hit a triple and had 2 RBIs.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3
P38 Energy Propane won over Quinte Home Installations 8-4.
Big hitters for P38 Energy Propane were Paige O’Brien with a homerun and 2 RBIs, Carlene Scott with a triple and two RBIs and Candy Sallans had a double.
BAY OF QUINTE MEN’S SOCCER LEAGUE RESULTS FROM THURSDAY, JUNE 4
Quinte FC are alone at the top of the table after week 3 of the season as the only undefeated team.
They beat Mira Santos 7-0 on the strength of a hat trick by Dylan Toland. Juan DaSilva notched two goals in the victory.

DEVER HEADED TO CARLETON
A local product is on his way to the Nation’s Capital to further his hockey and educational journey.
The Kingston Frontenacs Ontario Hockey League organization announced Jack Dever has committed to the Carleton Ravens men’s hockey program in Ottawa.
The Belleville native finished his overage campaign with 26 points between the Frontenacs and Ottawa 67’s in 2025-26.
Overall, Dever played 213 games in the OHL.
GOLDEN HAWK MVP HEADS EAST
The Trenton Golden Hawks 2025-26 MVP is taking his talents east to join one of USports’ most decorated programs.
Taeo Artichuk is committing to the University of New Brunswick for next season.
The 21-year-old from Ajax, Ont. racked up a franchise-best 108 points in 55 games this past season, following an 89-point campaign in a championship-winning 2024-25 season with Trenton.
In total, Artichuk compiled 240 points in 144 games over three seasons with the Hawks.
Artichuk will be studying Recreation and Sport Studies while attending UNB
RED DEVILS GRADS WIN MAJOR JUNIOR HOCKEY’S BIGGEST PRIZE
Two Quinte Red Devils graduates are bringing home major junior hockey’s biggest prize.
The 2025-26 Kitchener Rangers followed their Ontario Hockey League title with a Memorial Cup win this past Sunday, featuring contributions from Jared Woolley and Carson Campbell.
Woolley, a trade deadline acquisition from the London Knights, won his third league championship in as many years.
The Port Hope product recorded 36 points between the two teams during the season, added seven playoff points in 18 games and scored the championship winner in a 6-2 victory over the Western Hockey League’s Everett Silvertips in the Memorial Cup final.
Woolley is a draft pick of the Los Angeles Kings.
Campbell, a resident of Campbellford, notched 18 points in 51 regular season contests, then registered 12 points in 18 playoff games and notched three assists in the Memorial Cup tournament.
He’s committed to Bowling Green University in Ohio next season.
This is the Rangers’ third Memorial Cup title in franchise history and first since 2003.
