Celebrate 150 years of the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club with a Jubilee Commodore Sailpast this afternoon.
View the parade of colourful boats and Military Fly Past (weather permitting) from Meyers Pier and south end of Victoria Park around 2 p.m.
The Commodore Sailpast is an annual traditional maritime ceremony where a fleet of boats from a yacht club parades in front of the Commodore.
It’s a way to inspect the fleet’s readiness, demonstrate respect for the Commodore and mark the start of a new boating season.
Jubilee events continue through the summer.
