A signature fundraising event that had people’s toes tapping last month in Belleville was a big success.
Volunteer + Information Hastings & Prince Edward (VIQ) is proud to announce that the 18th annual Dancing with the Stars Quinte raised an incredible $24,528.35 in support of volunteerism and community connection across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
Held on May 29 at the Empire Theatre, the event brought together dancers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community supporters for an unforgettable evening of entertainment and generosity.
“These funds will have a meaningful impact on our ability to connect volunteers with local organizations and strengthen the nonprofit sector across our region,” said Mykayla Harrison, Executive Director of VIQ. “We are incredibly grateful to our dancers, instructors, sponsors, donors, and everyone who supported this year’s event. The generosity of this community continues to inspire us.”
Funds raised through Dancing with the Stars Quinte support VIQ’s ongoing work to connect people with meaningful volunteer opportunities and build stronger, more resilient communities.
