Kingston Police officer charged with impaired operation

Kingston Police have charged a member of their police service following an investigation into allegations of impaired driving.

Officers responded to an incident back on April 26th at 8:15 pm in the area of Princess Street and Gardiners Road.

Constable Chris Gobeil, a 27-year member of the Kingston Police, was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a conveyance and exceed blood alcohol concentration.

He was later released with a future court date.
