Almost $721,000 paid to Belleville for hosting Shorelines Casino in latest OLG payment

Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has made its fourth quarter (January 1 – March 31) payment totaling $720,976 to the City of Belleville for hosting Shorelines Casino Belleville.

During OLG’s fiscal year (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026), Belleville has received $3,092,266. Since the gaming site opened in January 2017, Belleville has received $25,415,851.

These payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.

“OLG shares revenues with host gaming municipalities to help them invest in local priorities, including community services and infrastructure,” stated Tyler Allsopp, Member of Provincial Parliament for Bay of Quinte.

“These payments generated at Shorelines Casino Belleville are part of our government’s commitment to support municipalities and to protect what matters most – those critical services families rely on.”

Since 1994, host communities have received almost $2.4 billion in non-tax gaming revenue.
