The St. Theresa Titans proved themselves to be a true powerhouse while defending home ice at the provincial hockey championship.

Coming into the OFSAA tournament as the #1 seed, the Titans pulled off a 3-2 overtime win over the Sydenham High Golden Eagles at CAA Arena on Thursday to win the Boys A/AA title.

The victory capped off a 6-0 tournament for the Titans.

Pierson Clute provided the winner in the extra session. Owen Rivers and Cam Shaw also added singles for the Titans.

Assists went to Clute, Shaw, Isaac Tracze and Ryan Babbs.

Charlie Vos posted the win in net.

Also, the Centre Hastings Centurions finished fourth in the 16-team tournament, with teams from across the province as far north as Fort Frances descending on the Quinte region.
