The Northumberland OPP has laid multiple charges in recent impaired driving investigations.
On March 21, 2026, at approximately 9:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in the area of Oak Ridges Drive in the Township of Hamilton.
Officers located a pickup truck matching the description on County Road 45 in the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand. After speaking with the driver, police initiated an impaired operation investigation.
The individual was taken into custody and transported to a local detachment for further testing.
Rodney Martin-Gray, 29, from Roseneath, has been charged with Operation while impaired and impaired driving with a blood alcohol concentration level of 80 plus.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in April.
On March 23, 2026, shortly after 1:30 a.m., police received a complaint regarding a driver playing loud music and revving a vehicle engine outside an address on Wallace Street in the Municipality of Trent Hills.
OPP attended and, after interacting with the driver, initiated an impaired operation investigation. The individual was taken into custody and transported to a local detachment.
Cody Campbell, 26, of Trent Hills, has been charged with impaired driving and failing to comply with a probation order
The accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in May.
For each of the accused charged with impaired operation, a 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impound were also imposed.
