Belleville Police have laid disturbance charges following a series of incidents on Wednesday.

On March 25th, Belleville Police responded to multiple calls for service regarding a female causing disturbances at various locations throughout the city.

At 4:03pm, Belleville Police responded to a call regarding the same female causing disturbances at two businesses on Dundas St E. It was reported that she entered the first business and was acting erratically, yelling, and throwing merchandise. She then entered a neighbouring business and reportedly continued the disruptive behaviour. As a result of investigation, police located, arrested and charged a 28-year-old Belleville woman with:

· Causing a disturbance X2

· Fail to comply with release order

· Fail to comply with probation order

She was held for a bail hearing. No name was released.
