Charity hockey game to benefit Mohawk athletes this weekend

The Tyendinaga Police Service and Mohawk Fire Department will be hosting an inaugural charity hockey game in efforts to raise funds for athletes representing the Mohawk community in the upcoming season.

All funds raised will be donated to the Tyendinaga Minor Lacrosse Association and the Tyendinaga Thrashers Hockey Program through 50/50 and Chuck-A-Puck initiatives

Prize Table:
4 tickets to the Oshawa Firewolves Lacrosse game for April 11th, 2026
4 tickets to Ottawa Blackbears game voucher for either March 28 or April 10, 2026 game dates
4 tickets to Belleville Senators game voucher including a signed game played puck by #4 C. CROTTY
4 tickets to Ottawa Senators vs Montreal Canadians on March 11th, 2026 in Ottawa, includes parking & $200 prepaid visa
1 homemade water drum by Dustin Brant

Following the conclusion of the game, community members will have an opportunity to skate on the ice with players.

The event is slated to go from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
