Two people were charged with breaching conditions in separate incidents over the long weekend in Belleville.
On February 15th (Sunday) at 12:27am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a report of unwanted communication.
It was reported that a male had been in contact with a female, despite being bound by conditions to not communicate with the female.
As a result of investigation, officers located, arrested and charged a 32–year–old Belleville man of no fixed address, with disobeying a court order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
In a separate incident on February 15th at 10:40am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s north end after receiving a report of a female breaching conditions of an Undertaking.
It was reported that a female had attended a male’s residence, despite being bound by conditions prohibiting communication with the male or attending his residence.
Upon arrival, officers located the female at the male’s residence.
As a result of investigation, a 30–year–old Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with failure to comply with an Undertaking.
She was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in March.
