Two charged with breaching conditions in separate incidents in Belleville

Two people were charged with breaching conditions in separate incidents over the long weekend in Belleville.

On February 15th (Sunday) at 12:27am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a report of unwanted communication.
It was reported that a male had been in contact with a female, despite being bound by conditions to not communicate with the female.

As a result of investigation, officers located, arrested and charged a 32yearold Belleville man of no fixed address, with disobeying a court order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
In a separate incident on February 15th at 10:40am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s north end after receiving a report of a female breaching conditions of an Undertaking.
It was reported that a female had attended a male’s residence, despite being bound by conditions prohibiting communication with the male or attending his residence.

Upon arrival, officers located the female at the male’s residence.
As a result of investigation, a 30yearold Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with failure to comply with an Undertaking.
She was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in March.
