Procter & Gamble employees, supported by a strong corporate commitment, have come together to raise $170,000 in support of United Way Hastings & Prince Edward through their annual workplace campaign.
The total reflects a powerful combination of employee payroll deductions, special fundraising events, and a generous corporate match, underscoring P&G’s deep and ongoing commitment to strengthening the community where its employees live and work.
“This campaign is a true reflection of what’s possible when a workplace comes together with purpose,” stated Brandi Hodge, Executive Director of United Way Hastings & Prince Edward.
“P&G is not only one of our region’s most significant employers, but also a trusted community ambassador. Their year-round commitment to United Way helps ensure local programs and services can respond to real and growing needs in our community.”

While many workplace campaigns have wrapped up, there is still time for individuals and organizations to support United Way Hastings & Prince Edward’s 2025 campaign.
Donations will be accepted until February 15, with the final campaign total to be announced on February 19.
While organizers say the campaign will not reach its stretch goal of $2.4 million, United Way is actively working to match or, with some luck, exceed last year’s achievement of $2.25 million, ensuring critical investments in the community can continue.
Funds raised through the P&G campaign and through Day of Impact activities will support United Way–funded programs focused on helping people meet basic needs, build financial stability, and access supports that strengthen long-term well-being across the region.
