The Belleville Police Service is rolling out a zone-based policing model and will seek feedback from the public in upcoming community town hall events.
This model will divided the city geographically into 4 zones to better track crime trends in specific areas.
Police Service leadership and zone officers will attend the meetings and provide information but the core of the approach will be to hear from residents on what they expect from their police service.
Belleville Police officials say dates for the upcoming town halls will be announced soon.
