Six collisions on Monday in Belleville

Snowy roads were the backdrop for a dangerous day for drivers in Belleville.

Between 6:30am and 2:00pm on January 5th, Belleville Police responded to 6 motor vehicle collisions. No serious injuries were reported.

As a result of these incidents, one charge under the Highway Traffic Act was laid for careless driving.

Belleville Police remind motorists to drive with extreme caution, adjust speed for conditions, and avoid unnecessary travel during severe weather events whenever possible.
