H.J. McFarland Memorial Home is acting in response to a confirmed facility-wide respiratory outbreak.

  • Home staff have implemented mandatory masking for all staff and visitors until further notice.
  • Visitors are asked to check with a staff member upon visiting the home to determine what extra precautions they must take to help prevent the spread of the infections.
  • Everyone entering the home must wash their hands or use hand sanitizer. Visitors should follow best practices for hand hygiene to avoid contracting and/or transmitting the infection.
  • People with respiratory symptoms should avoid visiting the home during the outbreak.
  • Large group activities are cancelled; however, small group activities will continue.
