UPDATE – westbound 401 reopened at Palace Road in Napanee

UPDATE at 9 am – The westbound 401 was reopened at Palace Road in Napanee at 8:36 am. Still no word on injuries.

ORIGINAL STORY – An early morning crash is causing major delays on the westbound 401 in the Napanee area on Wednesday morning.

Around 6 am, there was a collision involving two transport trucks. Injuries were still being assessed.

As a result, the westbound 401 is closed at Palace Road.

Expect traffic delays in the area and use alternate routes.
