Brighton welcomes job seekers to Career Fair

By Brock Ormond Jan 20, 2026 | 4:25 PM

The Municipality of Brighton is excited to host its fourth annual Career Fair on Tuesday, February 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Owen Gibb Community Centre on 75 Elizabeth Street.

This event continues to connect local employers with qualified employees.

This year’s Career Fair is presented in partnership with Work in Quinte, a regional employment service under the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board. Job seekers are encouraged to pre‑register at https://www.workinquinte.ca/brightoncareerfair/ by logging in or creating a free Work in Quinte account and uploading their resume. Pre‑registering allows candidates to skip the line and apply for jobs on the spot at the event. Candidates are also encouraged to bring printed copies of their resume.

Local employers looking to recruit new talent are encouraged to reserve a booth. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, contact Ben Hagerman, Manager of Economic Development and Communications at bhagerman@brighton.ca or (613) 475-0670.

This event is free for employers and members of the public.

The Brighton Career Fair offers employers an opportunity to showcase job openings, promote their organization, and connect with qualified candidates. Job seekers from students to professionals exploring new careers will have the chance to network and discover opportunities across multiple sectors.

For more information, including a list of registered employers, visit www.brighton.ca or follow the Municipality of Brighton on social media for updates.
