Community Services of Belleville and District is welcoming a new executive director.

Adrianna Vanderneut is the agency’s new ED, effective Dec. 1.

With nearly two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, CSBD stated Vanderneut is well positioned to lead CSBD into its next chapter.

Most recently, Vanderneut served as Director of Quality, Compliance & Evaluation at Blue Door in York Region, a leading organization delivering innovative and collaborative housing, employment, and health programs designed to address the root causes of homelessness.

She brings extensive expertise in nonprofit leadership and governance, having previously served as Executive Director of Durham Youth Services for more than five years, as well as over a decade teaching psychology, mental health, and counselling courses at Durham College.

CSBD Board Chair, Cathy McCallum, says the Board is grateful to Nicole Chevalier, current and outgoing Executive Director, for her capable leadership and many years of dedicated service to CSBD in her previous roles as Clinical Services Manager, Individual, Marital and Family Therapist, and Family Court Clinic Assessment Worker.
