Hawks hammer Canucks for fifth straight victory

The Trenton Golden Hawks made short and easy work of the Niagara Falls Canucks on Sunday evening with a decisive 6-1 win to finish off 2025.

Jack Ziliotto recorded a hat trick, with a goal in each period to lead the charge offensively for Trenton, bringing his total up to 24.

Ziliotto added an assist for a four point night

Beckett Ewart (13th of the season), Jamie Darlison (20th) and Lucas Digiantommaso (5th) added the other markers.

Ewart and Darlison added a goal and a helper each, while Taeo Artichuk registered five assists to boost his league-leading point total to 78.

Hayden Jeffery made 22 saves in the win as Trenton outshot Niagara Falls 47-23.

Trenton is off until Jan. 2, 2026 with a road game in Lindsay at 7 p.m.
