Habitat for Humanity recognized by charitable men’s group

Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings is being recognized by a charitable group for their efforts in providing local affordable home ownership.

The volunteer 100 Men Who Care Quinte group made Habitat the recipient of its November donation of $10,000.

100 Men Who Care also donated through Habitat Canada’s Giving Tuesday matching initiative, allowing the gift to be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact and helping move the organization closer to its fundraising target for the No Place Like Home Campaign.

The campaign supports the development of Habitat Village— a high-impact project that will create 66 new affordable homeownership opportunities for families in the Quinte community.

Hazzem Koudsi, CEO of Habitat PEH, stated the organization is ‘sincerely grateful’ to 100 Men Who Care for their leadership in community giving.

Thanks to a generous match from Peter Knudsen, all donations made until December 31, 2025, will be matched up to $25,000.
