By Brock Ormond Nov 28, 2025 | 8:04 PM
Quinte West staff members and firefighters got their hard work recognized earlier this week by city council.
At the Nov. 26 Special Council meeting, Mayor Jim Harrison and council presented the Long Service Awards to 23 Quinte West City staff members and personnel from Quinte West Fire and Emergency Services.
The staff members were recognized for celebrating service milestones in five-year increments from five years onward.
Nine firefighters were presented Provincial Exemplary Service Medals in recognition of 20 years of service, and five firefighters received a Provincial Long Service Bar for 30 years of service.
