Three people from Prince Edward County have been charged in connection with a drug trafficking investigation.
The OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit combined efforts with Prince Edward OPP members and other units to execute a search warrant in connection with an investigation at a residence on Evans Street in Picton on Wednesday night.
Officers seized over 190 grams of suspected cocaine, 12 grams of suspected ecstasy, and over $15,000 in cash. They also seized items associated with drug trafficking and approximately $20,000 worth of jewelry.
Two people from Picton, 40-year-old Trevor Hennessy and 22-year-old Brianna Skuffham-Connolley and one from Milford, 37-year-old Brandon Wannamaker, were all charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Hennessy and Skuffham-Connolly were also charged with possession of a prohibited device or ammunition for a dangerous purpose and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime, while Hennessy was given an additional charge of failing to comply with a probation order.
Hennessy and Skuffham-Connolly were held pending a bail hearing.
Wanamaker was released from custody with a future hearing in Picton Court.
