Athlete of the Week: Boe Dusa

By Katie Sherratt Nov 14, 2025 | 9:20 AM

Congratulations to the Cool 100 and Hits 95.5 Athlete of the Week Boe Dusa!

Sport: Hockey

Team: Trenton House League

Boe is 10 years old and has been passionate about hockey for four years. He began skating three years ago, and even though he fell countless times, he never gave up. His determination and resilience have been truly inspiring. Over the last two seasons, Boe has grown into a positive and focused athlete, thriving in drills and always showing respect for the sport and his teammates. This year, Boe decided to try out for the Trenton Golden Hawks select team. He dedicated every spare moment to practice and showed great promise. Although he made it through the first round of tryouts, he unfortunately fractured his wrist in two places last Thursday. Despite this setback, Boe’s response was incredibly mature. Instead of frustration, he quietly expressed his determination to come back stronger next year. That humility and resilience at such a young age are truly remarkable. Boe is eager to return to the ice and continue pursuing his passion. Attached is a picture of Boe supporting his little brother, showcasing his kindness and family spirit.
