An individual has been charged with impaired driving after Prince Edward County OPP responded to a disturbance call.

Officers were dispatched to a residence late on Thursday evening for a call regarding an unwanted person. The individual had fled before officers arrived, but he was located at another residence.

Officers utilized an approved roadside alcohol screening device, and the individual was arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

Justin Bachlow, 35 of Wellington, has been charged with:

Operation while impaired – alcohol
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on November 12.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
