UPDATE: Eastbound lane reopened following vehicle crash in Trenton

By Hailey MacDonald Sep 3, 2025 | 9:56 AM

An eastbound lane on Dundas Street West between Queen Street and Victoria Avenue has now reopened.

This is following a temporary closure earlier Wednesday morning due to a collision.

OPP East Region spokesperson Bill Dickson confirmed a vehicle had struck a hydro pole in the area.

No wires came down, but Hydro One crews were called in to examine the pole, which was significantly damaged.

The vehicle was towed from the scene and there were no serious injuries.

A police investigation is ongoing.

The city thanks the public for their patience during this temporary closure.
