Youth charged after a pair of incidents in Bancroft

Bancroft OPP have charged a youth in connection with a pair of incidents on Tuesday.

Police were called for the report of threats being made toward an individual at a Bridge Street East address.

The youth was arrested and released on an Undertaking with conditions.
Later the same day, police responded to a second incident involving the same youth at the same location.

It is alleged that the youth attended the address, contrary to release conditions, and threw a rock toward an individual, striking a nearby vehicle.

They were charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

The youth was arrested and held for a bail hearing in Belleville.

They cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice
