County hosting public meeting for Old Boys Memorial Entrance building project August 27

The County of Prince Edward invites members of the public to attend a public meeting about proposed updates to the Old Boys Memorial Entrance building on Wednesday, August 27.

The meeting will take place from 6 to 8 pm at the Old Boys Memorial Entrance located at the Picton Fairgrounds (375 Picton Main Street).

The Old Boys Memorial Entrance roof replacement is a capital project that was approved by Council in 2025 and will encompass the roof replacement and further enhancements to the building.

This drop-in style meeting will include a presentation at 7 pm by the Recreation and Community Facilities team. At the meeting, members of the public can provide feedback and learn more about the municipality’s planned updates to the Old Boys Memorial Entrance building.

The Old Boys Memorial Entrance at the Picton Fairgrounds was built to honour County residents who sacrificed their lives in the First World War. Public input will help shape the future of this important municipal space.
