Belleville man charged with multiple probation violations

A Belleville man is facing multiple charges in connection with probation violation.

Belleville Police responded to an apartment complex in the city’s downtown area regarding a report of an unwanted person on Wednesday afternoon.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the involved parties where it was reported that a male was breaching his release and probation orders by residing in the building and communicating with a female resident.

As a result, a 48-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:

· Failure to comply with probation order X3

· Failure to comply with release order X3

He was held for a bail hearing.
