List of charges released against pair in Napanee domestic dispute

More information has been released regarding an incident in Napanee on Monday.

Lennox and Addington County OPP officers were called to a report of a possible domestic dispute on Dundas Street West around 9:00 a.m. — it was reported that the suspects were carrying knives.

Police eventually located the suspects inside a building.

A 37-year-old male from Napanee faces a slew of charges that include:

  • Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
  • Possession property obtained by crime under $5000 (x2)
  • Assault a peace officer (x2)
  • Mischief – destroy or damage property
  •  Assault with a weapon
  •  Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (x2)

A 27-year-old female from Belleville faces charges of theft and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
