By Katie Sherratt Mar 7, 2024 | 10:54 AM

Belleville Police were called to a College Street East residence early Thursday.

The male was sleeping on a couch with his son in the living room just before 4:00 a.m. when he found an unknown man standing and watching them sleep.

The visitor left the home after the homeowner confronted him but remained on the front porch when police arrived.

A 37-year-old man of no fixed address was held for a show cause hearing today to face charges of unlawfully in a dwelling and prowl by night.
