Upcoming holiday hours and closures in Brighton

The Municipality of Brighton offices will be closed over the holidays from Dec 24 at noon until 8:30am on January 5, 2026.

Brighton Fire and Rescue will remain on-call during the holiday closure.

Public Works and Environmental Services Teams will also remain on-call. In the event of an emergency, please call the Public Works After Hours at 613-967-8707 or email pwoncall@brighton.ca. Or call the After Hours Environmental Services at 613-967-8707 or email esoncall@brighton.ca.

Both branches of the Brighton Public Library will be closed from Dec 24 to Jan 1, reopening on Jan 2, 2026 for regular hours. Book drops will remain open during the closure.
