The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Business Development Representative to join our team. This is a chance to build a rewarding career in media sales, with an emphasis on building genuine connections with local business owners. You’ll be the face of our company, helping clients navigate the world of radio and digital advertising to achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients throughout the Bay of Quinte.
  • Conduct needs-based consultations to understand client goals and challenges.
  • Create and present customized advertising campaigns that effectively combine radio and digital advertising to meet client objectives.
  • Actively prospect for new business opportunities and grow your client base.
  • Collaborate with our creative and production teams to ensure campaigns are executed successfully.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and the local business landscape.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

  • A natural ability to build rapport and trust with people.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed.
  • Eagerness to learn about radio and digital advertising.
  • Previous sales experience is an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a CRM system is a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required.
