UPDATE – Large Police presence in east-end Belleville

More information is expected on Wednesday about a large police presence in east-end Belleville on Monday afternoon.

Multiple calls to our newsroom said they spotted Emergency Response Team (and/or related units) in the area of Dundas Street East and Dufferin Avenue over the 4 o’clock hour.

There is no information yet on the nature of the investigation.

Officials with Belleville Police have confirmed that they did conduct an investigation on Monday in that area of the City.

More details will be released on Wednesday.
