PEC Mayor Steve Ferguson has offered his congratulations to the next Council in Prince Edward County.

He posted the following message on Facebook on Tuesday morning.

FACEBOOK MESSAGE FROM STEVE FERGUSON – I want to extend congratulations to Mayor-elect, Ernie Margetson, for being elected as the sixth mayor of Prince Edward County. I look forward to working with Ernie over the next few weeks as he prepares to take on the role of Mayor officially on November 15th.
I also want to congratulate new Councillors-elect Jane Lesslie, Kane Rutgers, Mark Henry, Emily Jane Pinstock, and Ken Morton on jobs well done to earn seats around the horseshoe.
Andreas Bolik and Dianne O’Brien, both, former Councillors, and incumbents Bill Roberts, Sam Grosso, Kate MacNaughton, John Hirsch, Corey Engelsdorfer and Chris Braney will be able to provide some guidance as the new Council begins its work for the next four years.
Congratulations, all!
