The festive tradition of giving will continue this year in Belleville.
The 2026 Christmas Sharing Campaign Launch will take place Friday, September 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christmas Sharing Program office, 2nd Floor, Century Village, Suite 206A, 199 Front Street, Belleville.
Community partners, supporters, local leaders and members of the media are invited to attend.
For nearly six decades, Christmas Sharing has relied on the generosity of the community to provide Christmas food assistance to local households.
As the 2026 campaign begins, the organization is encouraging residents, businesses, churches, service clubs and community groups to get involved through fundraising, donations and volunteering.
The first major community fundraiser of the campaign will be the 1st Annual Christmas Sharing Walkathon on Saturday, October 17 at Riverside Park in Belleville, proudly presented by Brady Clark Advisory Group, CIBC Wood Gundy.
The goal will be to walk, raise pledges and help provide Christmas food assistance to local families.
Funds raised through the Walkathon will directly support the Christmas Sharing Program’s 2026 campaign.
Registration for Christmas assistance opens Monday, November 2 at the Christmas Sharing Program office at Century Village and runs Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., until November 27.
