Building activity was slightly lower in Quinte West last month.
The municipality issued the monthly building division report for August on Tuesday of this week.
It showed that there were 45 permits issues in August for overall construction activity worth just over ten million dollars.
That is down slightly from the 57 permits issued in the same month in 2025 for construction valued at just over $13.8 million.
In August of 2024, the municipality issued 69 permits covering construction projects valued at just over $18.6 million.
