On September 3, 2026, at 10:10 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s west end regarding a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with both parties and learned that a verbal argument between a male and female had escalated into a physical altercation. As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with:
· Assault – spousal
She was released on an Undertaking with a court date in October.
In a separate case, on September 3, 2026, at 11:01 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a business in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, it was reported that a male and a female had been involved in a verbal argument. The male left the area and attended a nearby business; however, the female followed him, and the argument continued. While at the business, the dispute escalated, and the female struck the male.
As a result of the investigation, a 57-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with:
· Assault – spousal
She was released on an Undertaking with a court date in October.
