It’s that time of year again for local municipalities to lobby the province to assist with important projects.
The City of Quinte West announced its representatives are in Ottawa this week for the 2026 AMO Conference, joining municipal leaders from across Ontario to advocate for our community’s priorities and needs.
This year, the group has secured delegations with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transportation to discuss key local priorities, including healthcare and transportation infrastructure.
These meetings provide an important opportunity to work directly with provincial partners and ensure the needs of Quinte West are heard at Queen’s Park.
This year’s AMO Conference starts Sunday and runs through next Wednesday.
