Pizza for a cause Thursday

Pizza lovers in Belleville can get a great deal while helping out United Way Hastings Prince Edward later this week.

For just one day, this Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm, Topper’s Pizza Belleville on 365 North Front St. is offering a Medium Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza with Dip for just $9.95, with 100-per cent of proceeds from every purchase being donated directly to United Way HPE’s annual fundraising campaign.

The campaign raises critical funds that stay local, supporting more than 48 community programs across Hastings and Prince Edward counties.

These programs provide essential services like food security, housing stability, mental health supports, and opportunities for children and youth.

This is a pickup only offer.

“Topper’s Pizza Day is a perfect example of how local businesses can rally around the community in fun and meaningful ways. Every pizza purchased helps us reach more people who depend on United Way programs each and every day,” said Jennifer Smith, Director of Fundraising, United Way HPE.

United Way HPE emphasizes that local small businesses are at the heart of community giving. By hosting creative fundraisers like Topper’s Pizza Day, they not only raise dollars but also raise awareness about community needs.

“United Way plays such an important role in supporting people, and we are proud to contribute in this way. On October 9th, 100% of the profits from every purchase will be donated directly to United Way HPE’s annual fundraising campaign, helping them help so many,” said Tabitha Bentley, Manager of Topper’s Pizza.
