A former Belleville Fire Chief has found a new role in a different part of Quinte.
Marmora and Lake officials posted on social media that Mark MacDonald has been appointed as Fire Chief and Community Emergency Management Coordinator of the municipality.
MacDonald brings a wealth of experience, skills, and expertise to his new role.
He has built a 40-year career in fire services and municipal government, spending the last seven years with the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs, most recently as the organization’s Executive Director.
He also served as Fire Chief and Director of Emergency Services with the Belleville Fire Department for almost three decades.
