Tyendinaga Police are searching for two suspects who are at large in the community.
At 8 am, the service posted the following note on social media.
Attention Community Members,
The Tyendinaga Police Service is advising the community that there is currently an increased police presence in the area.
Tyendinaga Police, assisted by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) specialized units, are currently conducting a search warrant operation on Lower Slash Road.
At this time, approximately two outstanding non-community members are actively evading police in the area of Lower Slash Road and Wyman Road.
Community members are asked to avoid the Lower Slash Road and Wyman Road area until further notice.
Residents are asked to follow the direction of police and avoid approaching or interfering with the ongoing operation.
