Following a summer filled to the brim with vibrant camps, the Baxter Arts Centre is excited to announce its upcoming Fall
and Winter programming lineup.
Building on a season of rich community connections with parents, youth, instructors, and
artists, the schedule features a diverse range of creative opportunities designed for all ages
and skill levels.
“After spending a few months settling into the role of Program Director, it’s been lovely
connecting with our community,” says Megan Lumgair, the newly appointed Program Director.
“As we look ahead to the cooler months, I’m delighted to share a lineup of programs that will
keep your creative spark burning all through fall and winter.”
The upcoming season offers engaging workshops led by talented local instructors in a
supportive, hands-on environment.
Highlights of the upcoming fall and winter schedule include:

Ever wanted to capture the beauty of the natural world through art and words?
Painting 101 – Beginners Acrylics | Taught by Julie Seddon
Always wanted to paint? Painted in high school and liked it, but never got another chance?
Strange Still Life | Taught by Ambivalently Yours
Everyone is (probably) a witch, so why not honour the spookiest season by assembling a small
coven and drawing together.
Whether community members are looking to pick up a new artistic discipline, hone an existing
skill, or connect with fellow art enthusiasts, the Baxter Arts Centre continues to serve as an
accessible hub for creative growth and expression in Prince Edward County.
Registration for fall and winter programs is now open. With more courses and workshops to be
announced in the coming weeks, community members are encouraged to reserve their spots
early, as some programs are already waitlisted.
