The company which oversees school bus transportation is holding some special events to get people up to speed on the rules before classes start next month.
Officials with STSCO say people can learn about bus safety and take a ride on a bus with their First Rider program until August 19th.
First Time Rider Safety Booklet for Parents
All young school bus riders and their families are welcome to attend STSCO’s annual First Rider programs.
The First Rider Program will introduce new riders to the school bus.
Each session lasts approx. 30 minutes starting every 1/2 hour and includes a safety video and a 10-minute bus ride for children and families.
A large school bus and wheelchair accessible school bus will be on site.
