County Transport serves as the preferred final-mile carrier partner for many of Canada’s largest transportation and logistics companies, delivering reliable, customer-focused last-mile solutions across Eastern Ontario. Chady Oueini, President of County Transport
County Transport is a transportation and logistics company, operating out of their recently built terminal on Blessington Road north of Belleville. The company has broken ground on a 51,000-square-foot expansion that will double its facility footprint and establish one of Eastern Ontario’s premier medical-grade distribution facilities, creating approximately 50 new jobs in the region.
Chady Oueini gives the reason behind the growth of his company: “Clients started seeing how good we are; people started seeing how we operate.” County Transport has established itself as a trusted transportation and logistics partner throughout Eastern and Central Ontario, supported by a dedicated workforce, strong operational expertise, and a customer-first culture.
When Chady remodelled his transportation business to focus on freight and logistics, he implemented an intentional customer service strategy, catering to every customer according to their needs. For example, there is an office rule at County Transport: all emails will be answered in under two minutes.
County Transport began in 2017 when Chady bought County Courier, a company that had been operating for over 30 years. Under Chady’s leadership, the company evolved from a small local operation into a recognized transportation and logistics provider, building the infrastructure, fleet, and operational capabilities required to support sustained growth and long-term customer partnerships.
Chady Oueini sees his thriving company as a reflection of the economic health of Bay of Quinte: “Logistics reflects the economy; if logistics is doing well, then the economy is doing well.” He says there are plenty of jobs in the region.
